One Week to Go—Let’s Do This

You’ve made it through the planning, the tastings, the spreadsheets… and now it’s officially wedding week! While it might feel like there’s still a million tiny things to do, this checklist is here to help you stay calm, on track, and totally present as your day gets closer.

Grab your favorite drink, breathe deep, and let’s get into it:

Pack & Prep

☑️ Pack your detail items for flat lays (rings, invites, vow books, jewelry, etc.)

☑️ Prep your wedding day bag (touch-up makeup, snacks, deodorant, Advil, etc.)

☑️ Steam your dress and outfits or schedule when they’ll be steamed

☑️ Break in your wedding shoes (at least around the house!)

☑️ Pack a weather backup (clear umbrellas, coat, etc. if needed)

☑️ Prep tips for your wedding party (who’s helping you dress, holding flowers, etc.)

Final Confirmations

☑️ Confirm all vendors (arrival times, contact info, payment/tip plans)

☑️ Send your final timeline to your wedding party + vendors

☑️ Confirm headcounts with your caterer and/or planner

☑️ Confirm transportation (timing and who goes where)

Final Touches

☑️ Pick up your wedding bands if they were being sized or engraved

☑️ Clean your engagement ring(s) so they sparkle in photos

☑️ Final try-on of your wedding attire (including shoes and undergarments)

☑️ Double-check accessories (veil, jewelry, backup socks, etc.)

People & Planning

☑️ Check in with anyone giving a toast to make sure they’re prepped

☑️ Confirm ceremony details with your officiant

☑️ Print your vows or write them in a vow book

☑️ Finalize your seating chart and print escort/place cards

☑️ Share a “day-of” cheat sheet with your wedding party (timing, duties, contacts)

Honeymoon Prep

☑️ Pack your luggage early to avoid last-minute scrambling

☑️ Check your travel documents (passports, ID, reservations)

☑️ Confirm honeymoon transportation and any booked excursions

☑️ Leave a copy of your itinerary with someone you trust

Mind & Body

☑️ Drink water + rest (you’ll thank yourself later)

☑️ Get your nails done (or whatever self-care helps you feel great)

☑️ Do a final hair/makeup trial run if needed

☑️ Spend intentional time with your partner (away from wedding talk)

☑️ Let go of the tiny things—you’ve done the work, now it’s time to enjoy

Life Admin

☑️ Tidy up your home or laundry so you come back to calm, not chaos

☑️ Set up pet care or mail holds if traveling

☑️ Prep thank-you gifts or notes for your vendors or wedding party

☑️ Label vendor tip envelopes (and assign someone to hand them out)

☑️ Charge your phone + speaker for getting ready tunes

Most Importantly…

☑️ Soak in the love—from your people, your partner, and this moment

☑️ Let go of perfection and lean into presence

☑️ Laugh, cry, hug, dance, breathe—you’ve made it!

Weddings are a blur of beauty, chaos, and celebration. This checklist isn’t about doing more—it’s about helping you feel confident and ready, so you can fully enjoy this milestone.

And as always, I’m here if you need anything. Let’s go make some magic!
