A fun-as-heck ski resort wedding in the spring

Kerri and Ryan’s spring wedding at Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ, was truly one for the books. It was a day that reflected their love for each other, their families, and the great outdoors, all wrapped up in a celebration that was as unique and memorable as they are.

From the start, it was clear that this wedding was filled with personal touches. Kerri, with her incredible creativity, handmade all the bouquets using wood flowers. They were absolutely stunning, each one carefully crafted with love and attention to detail. It was the perfect choice for a mountain wedding, blending rustic charm with timeless elegance. Kerri’s sister, who was also her maid of honor, was right by her side throughout the morning, making those getting-ready moments even more special.

The journey to the ceremony was an adventure in itself. The ceremony was set to take place at the very top of the mountain, offering breathtaking views as the backdrop for their vows. But getting there wasn’t easy! We all piled into a van and made our way up a rocky, winding road. It was a bit of a treacherous ride, but it only added to the excitement and anticipation. When we finally reached the top, the view was more than worth it—rolling hills and lush greenery as far as the eye could see, with the fresh mountain air making everything feel even more alive.

The ceremony itself was nothing short of magical. Kerri and Ryan stood before their family and friends, the mountains stretching out behind them, and promised to spend their lives together. There was something so fitting about them exchanging vows in such a natural, unspoiled setting—it was as if the mountains themselves were witnesses to their love.

After the ceremony, we took some beautiful photos on the lawn, capturing the joy and connection between Kerri, Ryan, and their loved ones. The natural beauty of Mountain Creek provided the perfect backdrop, with every photo feeling like a piece of the story they were creating together.

And then came the reception, which was a blast from start to finish! The dance floor was packed all night, with everyone from the youngest guests to the oldest out there having the time of their lives. Kerri and Ryan’s first dance was just the beginning—the energy and excitement only grew from there, with the music and laughter carrying on late into the night.

Congratulations to The Coles!
