You, me & the sea


There's something so so so special about a surprise proposal, and Jordan & Sam's engagement session in Westhampton was just that.


Jordan had planned everything to catch Sam off guard. Flying in from London to Sam's childhood summer home of Westhampton, Jordan knew this was the perfect time to ask Sam to marry him.


The scene was set: The sun began to set behind Westhampton's beach and dune grass, and the light was a soft, warm, golden hue. The salty sea mist created a unique haze all along the beach.


During a walk on the beach, Jordan knelt down and asked Sam to marry him. Sam's reaction was one of pure surprise and joy. Watching her jump with excitement was the sweetest thing to experience, while Jordan was all smiles. And the RING – I have no words. I could've taken photos of it all day.


The engagement session that followed was filled with lots of love and laughter and trying to convince the two to do some corny poses. We walked up and down the beach, taking in as much of the golden hour as possible. Eventually, Sam's parents greeted us on the boardwalk with champagne to celebrate. We finished our session on the bay, drinking in the last of the sun as it quickly dipped below the horizon, and some bubbly.
