Second shot for EJ Photography
Hyo & Deokkyu’s wedding day was full of warmth, joy, and some of the best views you can ask for on a summer day in New Jersey. Set against the iconic skyline at Liberty House in Jersey City, their celebration combined modern elegance with heartfelt moments—and it was such a joy to photograph from beginning to end. I had the pleasure of second shooting this beautiful day with Eunjoo of EJ Photography, and every part of the celebration was filled with intention, style, and emotion.
The day started with quiet anticipation and plenty of sunshine. Hyo got ready surrounded by her closest friends and family, the suite buzzing with laughter, music, and happy nerves. Deokkyu’s prep was equally full of energy, with a few calm moments mixed in before everything came to life.
Liberty House is known for its sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline, and it truly showed off that day. Their outdoor ceremony was framed by lush greenery, fresh florals, and the sparkling Hudson River just beyond. Guests gathered in the sunshine to witness vows that were emotional, personal, and full of love.
After portraits on the balcony and along the waterfront, guests made their way inside for the reception. The space was filled with natural light, soft florals, and thoughtful design details that reflected Hyo & Deokkyu’s personalities—classic, modern, and effortlessly romantic.
As the sun dipped behind the skyline and the city lights began to twinkle, it was clear that Hyo & Deokkyu’s wedding was more than beautiful—it was meaningful, intentional, and full of love.
