From brownstones to Washington Square—an NYC love story in full bloom.
There’s something undeniably romantic about New York City in the spring—especially when the weather feels more like early summer. Gina and Dan’s engagement session in the West Village was filled with sunshine and that timeless NYC charm that never gets old.
We met up on an unseasonably warm May afternoon and wandered the quiet, leafy streets of the West Village, soaking in every golden ray of sunshine. The neighborhood’s classic brownstones, blooming window boxes full of hydrangeas, and cobblestone corners made the perfect backdrop for their sweet chemistry and energy. Gina wore an incredible white, pleated dress that she hunted for for months, and Dan kept things cool and relaxed—just like the two of them together.
Our stroll took us through some of their favorite blocks before making our way to Washington Square Park. The fountain was in full splash mode, and the park was buzzing with musicians, NYU graduates, and springtime energy. We paused at the Mews before heading back toward the quiet charm of the West Village to wrap up the evening.
Sessions like this are a reminder of how magical NYC can be in the spring—and how documenting love in the city never goes out of style.
