When you think about a springtime engagement session in Warwick, NY, you’re probably picturing colorful flowers, fresh green fields, and maybe a little spring rain. That’s exactly what we got with Danny and Bryn — plus one very important guest: their dog, Bonnie.
Danny and Bryn met while they were students at St. Bonaventure University, so it only made sense to name their Bernedoodle, Bonnie, after the place where their story started. She joined us for part of their engagement session and definitely made sure she got some camera time too — stealing the show (and a few frogs) along the way.
We kicked off the evening with a light spring shower, but Danny and Bryn didn’t let a little rain slow them down. They kept it easy and lighthearted, and once the rain moved out, we were treated to fresh spring flowers, lush greenery, and one of the best golden hour you could ask for.
Warwick, NY is such a great place for engagement photos, especially in the spring. The open fields, the winding country roads, and the laid-back feel matched Danny and Bryn so well. There were no stiff poses or forced moments — just natural, relaxed photos with lots of genuine laughs (and some great Bonnie cameos). By the end of the session, the sun dipped low over the hills, giving us the warmest golden light.
If you’re thinking about a springtime engagement session in Warwick, NY or anywhere in the Hudson Valley, don’t stress if the weather looks a little unpredictable. Some of the best photos (and memories) happen when you just roll with whatever the day brings — a little rain, a lot of flowers, and maybe even your four-legged best friend.
