The Most Perfect Summer Wedding in the Most Classic Upstate Destination

When you think of upstate New York, your mind might go to a few places but of all the classics, there is Saratoga Springs. Shopping and dining down Broadway, catching a race at the Saratoga Race Course, watching a classic upstate band like Dave Matthews or Phish at SPAC, and so many other things define this little slice of upstate.

That's why when Carolyn and Dan approached me to capture the biggest day of their lives at the Saratoga National Golf Club, I knew it was going to be the most perfect wedding.

Carolyn chose light blues for her stationery and bridesmaids' dresses, a classic white flower arrangement with pops of green and rhinestones for sparkle, beautiful wooden chairs for the reception space, and a STUNNING wedding dress covered in sequins and sparkles, which seemed like it was made just for her.

With a torrential downpour right before the ceremony started, a beautiful rainbow appeared on the horizon. No rain, no rainbow! The heat and humidity couldn't stop anyone from having a spectacular evening in the reception tent.
