A Springtime Afternoon in Greenwich Village with Knot Couture

On Saturday, Anneke and I scheduled a last minute shoot to get some good content for her blog. It rained all morning so we were blessed by blue skies and dry land later in the afternoon! The plan was to meet at Washington Square Park and take advantage of the bountiful spring blooms as a backdrop. We met up under the arch, stood there for a minute,  and witnessed a mass pillow fight all around the fountain. It was a typical New York moment but unfortunately probably not the best location for a fashion/lifestyle shoot. Luckily, as Anneke was walking to the park, she spotted this cool and sneaky alleyway. We tucked away there with our umbrellas and my camera and started shooting.

It was a beautiful, albeit somewhat cool, spring day in NYC. And I'm happy to say that we got some great shots!
